The Milwaukee Brewers took a commanding 3-0 lead in their National League Championship Series matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 6-2 victory in Game 3 at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Brewers' Jackson Chourio hit a leadoff home run against Blake Snell in the top of the first inning, and Robert Gasser pitched five shutout frames to protect the lead. The Dodgers briefly took the lead in the sixth inning on Will Smith's two-run double, but the Brewers answered in the seventh inning. Jake Bauers hit a go-ahead, two-run home run off Snell, and Garrett Mitchell followed with a home run to make it 4-2.

The Dodgers' offense was unable to mount a comeback, with a wild pitch in the eighth inning and a Joey Ortiz RBI single in the ninth adding to the Brewers' lead. DL Hall and Trevor Megill combined for 3.2 scoreless relief innings to seal the win for Milwaukee.

The loss puts the Dodgers on the brink of elimination, with one game remaining in the series. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts acknowledged the team's struggles, saying "You just gotta win tomorrow. We've just got to get a win and find a way to build some momentum." The Brewers, on the other hand, are one win away from completing the sweep and returning the favor for last year's NLCS.
