Mark Stephen Asea, a 36-year-old TikTok creator from Port St. Lucie, Florida, has been booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on a felony charge of offense against computer users.
Asea, who calls himself a "demonologist" and "Grey Hat Hacker," was first arrested in April on stalking and computer-related allegations. However, prosecutors dropped those charges in May before bringing a computer-access charge in September. His bond has been set at $35,000.
According to a police affidavit, two women have come forward alleging that Asea exposed their private information online. One of the women claimed that Asea had accessed her computer remotely to troubleshoot a problem, but then used that access to view her personal information. She also alleged that Asea posted a photograph from a private Telegram message on her phone in one of his TikTok videos.
The other woman said that she had trusted Asea to help her with a computer problem, but he allegedly used that access to view her personal information and even claimed to know her recent spending habits. Asea allegedly boasted in a video that he could track the woman's movements through her phone.
Asea's TikTok biography lists a range of terms, including "Demonologist," "Clairsentient," and "Grey Hat Hacker." He is scheduled to be arraigned on November 19.
