Cowboys' Cobie Durant gets stepped on in worst place possible during win over Commanders
Cobie Durant walks off the field with an apparent injury during an NFL game.

The Dallas Cowboys secured a significant win in the NFC East on Sunday, defeating the Washington Commanders 37-20. However, one player suffered an unfortunate injury during the game. Cornerback Cobie Durant was involved in a defensive play in the second quarter, attempting to defend Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin in the end zone.

As Durant was down on the ground, Cowboys safety Markquese Bell was walking backward and inadvertently stepped on Durant's groin area, causing additional pain. Durant remained on the ground for a short period before being helped up by Cowboys trainers. He left the game and did not return.

Durant joined the Cowboys in the offseason on a one-year deal worth $4 million. He previously spent four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, where he accumulated 141 tackles and seven interceptions in 61 games. In last week's loss to the New York Giants, Durant had one tackle and a pass breakup.

The Cowboys' victory was largely due to their strong defensive performance, particularly in the second half. The team held the Commanders to just 10 points in the final two quarters, while forcing a fumble on Dyami Brown that proved to be the only turnover of the game.

The win improves the Cowboys' record to 1-1, while the Commanders fall to 0-2.
