Children's YouTube star Ms. Rachel has doubled down on her advocacy for Palestinian children in Gaza, criticizing celebrities who have remained silent on the issue. In an interview on comedian Ilana Glazer's podcast, "It's Open", Ms. Rachel, whose full name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, questioned why some high-profile celebrities have not spoken out about the situation in Gaza. Accurso stated that if someone is "uncancellable" and "famous", they should be willing to "risk something" to help save lives.

Accurso's comments came in response to criticism from Rabbi Yaakov Menken, executive vice president of the Coalition for Jewish Values, who said that she devotes too much attention to Palestinian children compared to those suffering elsewhere. Elizabeth Barcohana, the California Republican Party's Jewish engagement chair, also criticized Accurso, accusing her of using "false and misleading information" to emotionally manipulate her audience.

Accurso's criticism of celebrities who have remained silent on Gaza is not limited to the issue itself, but also extends to other humanitarian issues, such as children in detention and the situation in Sudan. She expressed frustration that prominent figures are not speaking out on these issues, and called on wealthy celebrities to use their platforms to help raise awareness and funds for humanitarian causes.

During the podcast, Accurso also discussed the controversy surrounding rapper Macklemore's removal from Ed Sheeran's U.S. tour following his comments about Palestine. Accurso dismissed Sheeran's explanation for the decision, and called on other celebrities to use their platforms to speak out on issues like Gaza.
