A college football game between Oregon and USC took a concerning turn on Saturday night when Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore was taken off the field on a cart after suffering a vicious hit to the head.

The incident occurred about five minutes into the second quarter, when Moore, a senior from Detroit, was hit by USC linebacker Desman Stephens while attempting to gain a first down. Stephens was immediately ejected from the game for targeting Moore.

Moore remained on the field for a considerable amount of time while being attended to by medical personnel. According to reports, he did not appear to be moving at first, but later showed signs of movement, including being able to rotate his arms and move his hands and feet.

As Moore was being carted off the field, his Oregon teammates stood around him, showing concern for his well-being. Stephens, on the other hand, was seen smiling and laughing on the sidelines while being congratulated by his teammates, which may raise questions about his reaction to the hit.

Moore was eventually replaced by former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola, who completed a touchdown pass to wide receiver Evan Stewart and helped the Ducks take a 13-10 lead into the locker room at halftime.
