Viral wildlife video captures coyote launching itself into the air to snatch a pear off a tree

A coyote has been caught on camera using its impressive jumping skills to snatch a pear from a tree.

The footage, shared on Facebook by Tom Miranda, has gone viral for its stunning display of the coyote's agility. In the video, the coyote launches itself into the air, clearing a significant distance to reach the fruit.

Miranda captioned the video "Coyote eating pears!" and many viewers have been impressed by the coyote's vertical lift. While coyotes are often viewed as a nuisance in rural areas, where they can attack livestock and pets, the video has been widely shared and admired for its entertainment value.

Coyotes are a common sight in many parts of North America, and their ability to adapt to different environments has made them a successful and widespread species. However, their presence can also be a concern for farmers and pet owners.

The video has sparked a range of reactions from viewers, with some praising the coyote's athleticism and others commenting on the challenges posed by coyote populations in rural areas.
