An Illinois woman has filed a lawsuit against a Las Vegas bar, claiming she was injured while riding a mechanical bull ride at the establishment.
The ride in question, known as the "World Famous Gyrating Johnson Mechanical Member Bull," is a mechanical penis that patrons attempt to ride. According to the lawsuit, Amber Zabran was thrown from the ride and suffered injuries when her foot and/or ankle became caught under the main shaft area of the ride.
The incident allegedly occurred on November 22, 2025, at The Nerd, a bar located in Downtown Las Vegas. The lawsuit claims that Zabran and her friends were not required to sign waivers before riding the mechanical bull.
The lawsuit seeks special and actual damages, medical expenses, and attorney's fees. It alleges that Zabran suffered "great pain of body and mind, including serious and painful physical injuries, as well as shock and injury to her nervous system entailing mental stress, anxiety, and anguish."
The ride is featured on The Nerd's website, where it is described as a challenge for riders to stay on top of the mechanical bull as long as possible while the operator tries to get them to fall off.
