The Atlanta Falcons have silenced their critics and become must-watch television with their impressive performances in their last two Primetime games. The team, which started the season with a 0-2 record, has won two straight games under the bright lights of nationally-televised contests.
The key to their success has been the play of running back Bijan Robinson, who has put on a show in both games. In Week 3, he rushed for 194 yards on 29 carries with two touchdowns in a blowout victory over the Green Bay Packers. He followed that up with another outstanding performance against the New Orleans Saints, rushing for 145 yards on 19 carries with two more touchdowns.
Robinson's agility, explosiveness, and consistent running have made him a joy to watch, and his teammates have benefited from his success. Backup running back Brian Robinson Jr. had three touchdowns and 62 yards rushing in the game against the Saints, while quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was 15-of-20 for 223 yards with a touchdown pass. Wide receiver Drake London had five catches for 96 yards, including a big game last week against the Packers.
The Falcons' offense has been well-supported by their solid defense, which has allowed them to maintain possession of the ball and keep their offense on the field. The team's offensive line has also played a key role in their success, protecting Penix and opening up holes for Robinson.
With their Primetime performances, the Falcons have proven that they are a team to be reckoned with, and they will look to continue their winning streak on Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5.
