Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson was injured during Thursday night's game against the Carolina Panthers at Lambeau Field. Watson was in the middle of a big night, with six catches for 100 receiving yards in the first half, when he collided with Panthers cornerback Will Lee III on a deep ball. The impact was hard enough that Watson was slow to get up, and Lee also suffered a hamstring injury that required him to be helped off the field.

Watson's injury initially appeared to be serious enough to warrant transportation to a hospital near the stadium. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, where he underwent precautionary checks for a chest injury. However, in a surprising turn of events, Watson returned to the stadium in the same ambulance, running out of the tunnel and directly onto the field to a raucous reception from the home crowd.

Watson's return to the game was less than an hour after he left for the hospital. He was back on the field and continued to contribute to the Packers' offense, pulling in another reception in the fourth quarter. The Packers ultimately took a 27-13 lead into the middle of the fourth quarter, with Watson back on the field and playing a key role.

The details of Watson's brief hospital visit are unclear, but it appears he was able to undergo medical tests while still in full uniform. His quick return to the game was a testament to his toughness and commitment to his team.
