Tampa Bay Rays left fielder Chandler Simpson made an incredible catch in Game 3 of the World Series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night at Tropicana Field.

Brewers batter Sal Frelick hit a sharp liner to left field, which appeared to be heading over Simpson's head or potentially out of the park for a home run. However, Simpson showed his athleticism by turning on the jets and making a leaping grab, crashing face first into the wall in the process.

Despite the impact, Simpson managed to hang onto the ball and return it to the infield, preventing Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell from advancing to second base and saving a run for the Rays. The play was a crucial moment in the game, as the Rays were facing a 2-0 deficit in the series.

Simpson has had a decent series so far, going 3-for-8 with an RBI and two strikeouts. However, his defensive magic may have been just what the Rays needed to stay in the game. The intensity of the series has been high, with the Brewers having taken the first two games 3-2 and 5-4.

The Rays will look to bounce back from the deficit and stay in contention for the championship.
